Supporting School Climate

Middle school and high school can be a lonely place for many students. At the heart of our lessons is “school-connectedness,” a leading protective factor and essential to learning and thriving at school.

Our lessons are designed to spark conversations and foster a positive school climate where students and teachers naturally build meaningful and lasting relationships.

Connect with Intervention Groups

School-Connect’s 6-session small group interventions build skills and community for Tier 2 students who may need additional guidance and support. Our group sessions focus on topics students need most to be successful in school and beyond:

  • Motivating & Equipping for Academic Success
  • Managing Emotions
  • Building Rapport with Adults
  • Addressing Vaping & Substance Use
  • Coping with Grief and Loss

Proactively Prevent Bullying Online and On Campus

Bullying prevention is built-in throughout School-Connect lessons. By middle and high school, the term “bullying” may seem overused to teens and the severity is often underappreciated. Our lessons give a fresh perspective by helping build relationships in class and across campus that lead to increased empathy and equip students with the words and the courage to support students who are targeted.

School-Connect is for Teachers too!

Our unique Teacher Self-Care series is designed for educators and administrators to take a break from their non-stop lives to reflect and connect with their colleagues. This 9-part series is ideal for staff meetings, department meetings, or other small groups to focus on strategies known to relieve stress inside and outside of class.
