Tier 2 & 3 Intervention

Our lessons and tools help counselors, social workers, specialists, and administrators with student intervention that reinforces Tier 1 strategies. By addressing common skill gaps through an intentional framework, students improve attitudes and abilities for school success. Targeted Intervention Guides

These "Reteachable Moments" are 1-page guides to assist with taking advantage of the critical time after a behavior incident in 1-on-1 settings, small groups, and/or in-school-suspension (ISS). Through purposeful questions, you will help students process the incident, evaluate options, and determine the best actions to move forward. We have ten unique intervention guides focusing on the most relevant behavior issues in schools today, such as absenteeism, academic apathy, class disruptions, fighting, vaping, tech use, and more.

Group Intervention Sessions

We’ve created curriculum focused on the most common behavior topics to help you make the most of your intervention time with small groups. Organized into a series of six sessions, you'll have everything needed to create a comfortable climate, encourage self-reflection, and model deeper application. You'll also be equipped with short videos to address student gaps in specific knowledge and skills and other videos that allow them to relate to and hear insights from other teens.

Alternative Education

While alternative education isn't inherently Tier 2, we recognize the importance of intervention in these settings to boost academic motivation and hone skills in emotional management, conflict resolution, and preparing for employment. School-Connect's overarching goal is to reduce the risk factors that lead to academic failure and bolster protective factors to help students feel successful, known, and valued. Our S-C Alumni videos help students connect with older students who have experienced and overcome similar academic and personal challenges.
