As students start their first jobs help equip them with the skills they need most to get and keep a job. Lessons start with resume building and effective interview skills, and then delve into the importance of customer service, work ethic, proactive problem-solving, and responding to feedback from an employer.
Module 10 will include a new “Speaking from Experience” video series with interviews from employers and employees sharing their perspectives about common workplace issues, situations, and solutions. The employer interviews represent a wide range of job experiences and training (e.g., restaurants, coffee shops, HVAC, construction, banking, technology, nursing, and the military). Lesson 10.9 culminates with students assembling a full portfolio including their resume, interview questions responses, and other lessons learned from the series.
Modules 10 and 11 are an engaging and easy-to-use solution for CCMR (College, Career, and Military Readiness) education.
